Store Policies
- During the checkout process you will be asked to provide a preferred "ship date" for your gift to be shipped from our bakery. All items ship via FedEx TWO DAY and FedEx Overnight.
Two Day orders can only be shipped Mon., Tues., and Wed., for delivery prior to the weekend. FedEx does not normally deliver on Saturday. OVERNIGHT AND PRIORY OVERNIGHT can only be shipped Mon., Tues., Wed., and Thurs., for delivery prior the weekend. FedEx does not normally delivery on Saturday. Sunday & Monday deliveries are not available via Fed Ex unfortunately. During the ordering process you will be asked for a "preferred ship date" and "greeting card message" for your convenience. If we are unable to ship on your preferred ship date we will send your order as close to your requested day as possible if there are any questions give us a call at 1-877-816-1400. FedEx does provide Saturday delivery "ALL" SATURDAY DELIVERY REQUESTS MUST BE CALLED IN TO OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT AT 1-877-816-1400 AND SHOULD NOT BE PLACED ON-LINE DUE TO THE ADDITIONAL SATURDAY DELIVERY CHARGE WHICH NEEDS TO BE CALCULATED (ADDITIONAL TO REGULAR OVERNIGHT DELIVERY CHARGE). We will need to determine if overnight Saturday delivery is available in your area via Fed Ex and UPS. (ON AVERAGE THE SATURDAY DELIVERY IS AN ADDITIONAL $20. SHIPPING CHARGE ON TOP OF THE REGULAR OVERNIGHT DELIVERY CHARGE PER FEDEX). We can take orders up to 3 months in advance for your convenience!!!! SHIPPING CHARGES: Are based on total order weight and destination. Shipping charges are figured at the beginning of the checkout process before any credit information is gathered. THE HERITAGE PIE COMPANY CAN NOT AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ORDERS THAT SHIP ON YOUR SCHEDULED DATE AS REQUESTED AND ARE DELAYED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS ETC. PERTAINING TO YOUR FED EX DELIVERY AS REQUESTED. ANY DELAYS DUE TO FED EX'S ERROR SHOULD BE ADDRESSED WITH THEM DIRECTLY. AS SOON AS A CREDIT IS ISSUED WE WILL RESHIP YOUR ORDER. The Heritage Pie Company can not and will not be responsible for incorrect delivery address's, causing non delivery, due to the address given by the orderer! The Heritage Pie Company will not be responsible for items that are exposed to the hot weather elements for a prolonged period of time due to the neglect of the recipient. CANCELLATION POLICY: ** NO CANCELLATIONS ON THE DAY OF SCHEDULED SHIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED**. ANY CANCELLATIONS WILL INCURR A 6% HANDLING/PROCESSING FEE WHICH WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL CREDIT REQUESTED OF THE PREVIOUSLY ORDERED ITEM(S). NO PENALTY WILL BE INCURRED IF THE ORDER IS POSTPONED/DELAYED OR THE DATE OF THE SHIPMENT IS CHANGED" THE ORDER WILL REMAIN OPENED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BY THE PURCHASER. All packages are shipped via Fed Ex Express and are "TAGGED OK TO LEAVE" to insure delivery at your residence without a signature (business deliveries may require a signature). We strongly suggest letting the receiver know about your gift on the day it is to be received to insure the items are brought into the home or business on a timely basis to insure a fresh product. If you are unsure of your recipient's plans, we recommend a gift certificate. Federeal Express and UPS do not deliver to Post Office Boxes or General Delivery. It is the Customer's responsibility to enter a deliveralbe address for the pie. Heritage Pie can not be responsible for incorrect addresses entered by the customer through our web site. We send Shipping Confirmations with every order for the customer to verify that the information has been entered correctly. We do not accept return deliveries as the pie is a perishable product and can not be returned.
